The objective of this work is analyzing the manifestation of dengue in the city of Fortaleza / CE between the years 2001 to 2013, relating the number of cases, the incidence of the disease, the Aedes aegypti building infestation and the climate of the region. For this purpose, the aforementioned variable data were acquired. Maps and charts were made and statistical correlations settled. There was a heterogeneous spatial and temporally behavior of rain, but similar at each year. It is observed that in years with few cases of dengue and that configured climate typology of very dry year, dry, normal or too rainy, the number of cases concentrated proportionally outside the rainy season, like the years of 2002, 2004, 2009, 2010 and 2013. What is not found in years of major epidemic, such as 2001, 2008, 2011 and 2012 that proportionally had the highest concentration of cases in the rainy season. The apex of the cases occur, usually, with an interval of one to two months after the increase in rainfall and air temperature. The relative humidity showed a shorter time relationship with respect to the optimal conditions for the proliferation of the mosquito vector.
