Abstract

To make a reflection about the food issue, allows many alternatives to realize for environmental sciences, which indicates a interdisciplinary perspective, that the undertanding of debate about categories like starvation, food safety, food sovereignty and the Human Right to Adequade Food, substantiate the prodution analysis of social space which are implemented public policies. In such context that this review article has been materialized. Based on thesis "The Geography of  Safety And Nutrition Food in Ceará, Brazil: a study of the food acquisition program (PAA)" (2015), which is focused the spatialization of PAA on Ceará, is possible to undertanding that the food crises is caused by the uneven development from agriculture prodution on the last century, this worsened in lasts decades, which made this study an objetive from many research areas like Sociology, Antropology, Nutrition and, especificaly, the environmental sciences; this last has your grounded researchs, from Josué de Castro in your Starvation Geography. Nowdays the issue at hands transcends the perspective of structural starvation, but allows the discussion of the guarantee of the Human Right to Adequate Food and orientation for food sovereignty within the Nutritional Food Security debate. This route needed thus promote terminological differentiation, on the understanding that food security is beyond the technical approach of "food safety".
