Potencial evaluation of water reuse in Fortaleza-CE

Abstract

Thus, this search had as goal the potential evaluation of reuse of the effluents generated in the ETEs of Fortaleza. To search realization, were followed the steps: (a) Bibliography review; (b) Data survey of the ETEs; (c) Analysis of reuse modalities; (d) Flow estimates of the ETEs; (e) Effluent analysis for selection of the ETEs in classes; (f) Determination of reuse potential; (g) Survey of Potential consumers. In the was defined that option with viability best to using of reuse water in the short term is irrigation of green areas and cleaning of public places of Fortaleza. It was concluded in the search that is fundamental that practice of reuse be widespread in the county to minimization of problem of water scarcity, highlighting that reuse has many advantages in environmental terms, economics and social.
