GEOECOLOGIA DAS PAISAGENS:UMA ABORDAGEM DA EVOLUÇÃO TEÓRICO-CONCEITUAL E METODOLÓGICA

Resumen

Landscape Geoecology is part of a scientific field dedicated to the study of natural environmental systems based on Geosystemic Theories, following an interdisciplinary approach with a focus on ecological aspects. It has practical applications in territorial planning and management through the integrated analysis of the natural, socio-economic, and cultural components in different geographical contexts. This article reviews the fundamental principles of Landscape Geoecology through the literature survey of studies regarding this subject, with an emphasis on its epistemological evolution and the theoretical and methodological precepts used in this field. It also draws on the author's experiences as a researcher and member of LAGEPLAN - Laboratory of Landscape Geoecology and Environmental Planning (Laboratório de Geoecologia da Paisagem e Planejamento Ambiental) at the Federal University of Ceará.
