EVALUACIÓN Y PROPUESTAS DE USO

Resumen

The Ubajara National Park is landscape mosaic that integrates a rich biodiversity, expressed by an exuberant forest "pluvionebular" and a geodiversity characterized by the contact with the Ibiapaba glint and the Sertaneja depression and the biggest speleological province in the state. Based on the environmental elements potential, specially those with abiotic character, the present work evaluates quantitatively the didactic potential in the Parna Ubajara geoheritage and proposes several educational uses of this potentialities in the contexts of formal and non-formal education. The methodology employed begins with the inventory and quantitative evaluation of the sites of geological interest, later an environmental education program for the Parna Ubajara is proposed. The research reveals the educational potential of the local geoheritage since all 11 inventoried sites reached national relevance. The proposals integrate different social actors in the region and demonstrate the applicational character of the geoconservation field.
